Diva On Lockdown will see fixed cameras placed in the GC’s house to see how she copes with the government restrictions.
Like everyone else, Gemma Collins is currently adjusting to life in lockdown, but that doesn’t mean she’s going to let it get in the way of her filming a reality show.
The GC has announced details of a new Big Brother-style series that will see fixed cameras placed in her Essex home as she deals with the government restrictions.
The idea for Diva On Lockdown was thought up after filming of the second series of her fly-on-the-wall show Diva Forever had to be halted due to the coronavirus pandemic.
The former Celebrity Big Brother contestant had been filmed searching for her new dream home and “mixing in Royal circles”, but there’s been a change of plan.
In a typical GC statement, Gemma said: “We were in the middle of filming my new series of Diva with loads of exciting stuff planned. But as you know, we’ve found ourselves in the middle of a pandemic. So here we are now…I’m standing in my living room, with fixed rig cameras all over my house to bring you Diva on Lockdown.
“You want the GC, so the GC found a new way of working. You’re going to see everything that I do in isolation. We’ll all be on our journey together.”
Gemma continued “I’m being filmed and I’ve also got the producers speaking in my ear so if it sounds as if I’m talking to myself…well maybe sometimes I am. I can guarantee though, what you see will definitely be 100% authentic GC. I hope it cheers you up in these difficult times.”
Sounds exactly what we need on TV right now.
Diva on Lockdown will air on ITVBe later this month.
